Alex
Kuhlman was born in the Netherlands and received his Master's degree in Economics from the
University of Amsterdam.
He worked for UPS
Europe in Strategy & Planning before taking a radical career turn in 1998 and
undertaking the necessary training to become a professional pilot. He now flies
commercially for a large European airline on the Boeing 737. As an Economist and
a major fossil fuel consumer, he has taken a very active interest in Peak Oil
and has written many articles, featured in a Peak Oil documentary and sporadically lectures at colleges
& universities.
